The 3rd Methanol Plant is designed to produce 1,000,000 TPA of methanol grade AA based on the license and know-how of Haldor Topsoe AS.
The product application is intermediate of various chemicals products, mainly MTBE and formaldehyde.
The project feedstock is sweet natural gas from Bid Boland C2+ Extraction Plant as well as Co2 from Razi Petrochemical Complex Ammonia Plant and Arvand Petrochemical Company MEG Plant.
Fajr Petrochemical Complex in the Special Petrochemical Economic Zone supplies the project utilities.
